Blue sky and snow

The weather lately has been either blue sky or snow, or both! Tons of fun, since it's getting warmer and that is nice for the farm chores.  We have many openings for reservations, so if you are planning a trip give us a call! 607-659-5630.

Pure Maple Syrup

How does pure maple syrup for your breakfast sound?  Made here on the farm.   Here we are, splitting wood for the maple fire,

Stirring the sap,

 Sitting on the woodstack,

and, ummm, tasting !!! yum

Did you know?

Did you know that we use non-chemical, sweet smelling, Mrs.Myers cleaners at our cottage? We love how it smells, and no headaches after cleaning.  Although the cabin has always been cleaned with natural cleaners it's never been such a pleasure.

 Well, it was too busy around here to get these photos on the next day, but here is want it looked like, and its not much different! okay, it seemed like it was a lot of snow coming down at the time!

 Here are the flowers from the farm, that met our last guests!

 Another shearing, and our sheep are happy to be cooled off!! 30 sheep shorn! Thanks, Jim Baldwin! Come for a visit, the sheep are telling me to ask you!

The inaugraul tomatoe!

The first Tomatoe plant, in our beautiful greenhouse, built for our farm, by my hubby and family. Finished on Mothers Day weekend. We might have a lot of photos taken here in the future, because we are spending much time in here!

The end walls have to be built, but we have heirloom organic tomatoe seeds planted, melon, lettuce, pumpkin, (we think...more like mystery plant) and marigolds.
